Yes! As real property, our homes are eligible for the same mortgage and financing options as a site-built home. We’ll even help you complete the required forms to secure financing.

Your home will usually be built in just a few days. Preparing your property to receive your Craft Cottage and building the foundation will usually take longer than the construction of the house itself – by the time your lot is ready, your home will be prepared, too.

Installation is usually accomplished in just one or two days.

No. At this time, all Craft Cottage Builders homes must be set on a raised foundation, or “crawlspace foundation.” We can, however, prepare your foundation so that your house sits nearly level with the ground, giving the appearance of a slab foundation.

No. Just like a site-built home, your Craft Cottage is permanently installed on a fixed foundation and cannot be moved easily. Your home is considered “real property” and is deeded, not titled. Your home will appreciate like real estate and is eligible for all the same financing options as a site-built home.
